What is a Financial Advisor?

A Financial Advisor is a professional who suggests and renders financial services to clients based on their financial situation. In many countries Financial Advisors have to complete specific training and hold a license to provide advices. Just like in the Philippines, all Financial Advisors should undergo certain seminars and reviews, and take licensing exams. Financial advisors, or advisers, can provide many different services, such as investment management, income tax preparation and estate planning.

Role: Financial Advisors typically provide clients/customers with financial products and services, depending on the licenses they hold and the training they have had. For example, an insurance agent may be qualified to sell both life insurance and variable unit-linked products or may also be a financial planner. A Financial Advisor may create financial plans for clients or sell financial products, or a combination of both. They also provide some insight on savings.

In FTH Movement, our team of Financial Advisors are all Licensed Financial Advisors of AXA Philippines. Some are Rookies and also some are tenured and well-experienced advisors. They are well trained and equipped with the high-quality training that AXA Philippines have provided for them. They also managed and served many clients/customers all over the Philippines and also OFWs from different countries abroad.

What are the preferred qualifications for the Financial Advisor role?

College degree
(High-preferable are graduates in: Accounting, Finance Major, Marketing, Entrepreneurship)
Ability to put the client first
Strong communication skills
Confident and resilient personality
Ability to listen, understand and give advice
Goal oriented at an individual and team level
SUBMISSIVE, TEACHABLE/TRAINABLE and always AVAILABLE for all required trainings.
With Sales and Marketing background
(At least 2 Years of Experience)
With Leadership and with an Entrepreneurial Mindset and Characteristic
And a person who loves to travel a lot (both Local and Foreign trips)
