Car insurance is your financial security from harm associated with cars. The amount of cover you earn from your car insurance policy is dictated by the total rate you pay, and the incentives offered in the policy. At a minimum, all car owners are expected to receive Compulsory Third Party Liability Insurance (CTPL), covering the death and disability of third parties without protecting the driver or his passengers to a minimum.

Rates for car insurance can vary depending on the type and make of the car, so plan to shell out more on larger and more expensive cars. On average, anticipate paying between P12,000 to P20,000 per year anywhere.
